Phlebotomy Training Institute LLC was a lifelong dream of Tamara Jackson-Director. Tamara has been dedicated to her community for over 20 years as a Social Worker By implementing Workforce Programs to help the youth and older adults. Tamara received her Bachelors Degree in Communication and Master in Business Administration. She also has a Master in Health Care Administration.
Tamara is a certified Phlebotomy Instructor that wanted to start a Phlebotomy Training Institute LLC to give individuals the opportunity to have a great start in the healthcare field. Tamara works with two great nurses on her staff that ensure each individual is fully equipped with the knowledge needed to enter the healthcare field as a Phlebotomist.

This is accomplished by providing theory and clinical experiences in a professional environment that is conductive to diverse learning needs of students. Phlebotomy Training Institute will provide quality education ensure individuals are well equipped with knowledge of Phlebotomy Industry with a success-oriented and supportive environment. Phlebotomy Training Institute will prepares individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary related to obtaining blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis.”

TAMARA JACKSON
CEO
Tamara Jackson started Phlebotomy Training Institute because she wanted to help people grow into a new career path. When Tamara was a Social Worker she was helping an at-risk teenager girl go over career options. One girl expressed to Tamara that she had no goals, vision or plans of every working. She stated she was “going to get pregnant and live off the State.” To Tamara this was not an option. Tamara wanted to help these young girls come up with better options. Tamara implemented a program to provide funding for these at risk teenage girls to go to school. This started Tamara’s journey into opening her own phlebotomy school.
KELLI SHRENK
Phlebotomy Instructor/RN
Dedicated Registered Nurse for 28 years, in the beginning of her career. She worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, treating infant patients. She has documented patients and Nurses interaction to ensure proper protocols were held at high standards. She has done collaborate treatment plans part of an integral multidisciplinary team. She has lead psych educational groups and activities for diverse ages and cultures. She brings her 28 years of experience and education to Phlebotomy Training Institute as a Phlebotomy Instructor to ensure the students get the education they deserve.
JAMILLA N WASHINGTON
Intake Coordinator
Dedicated Phlebotomists and Medical Assistant for 20 years. She worked at Atrium Healthcare Hospital for over 10 years as a Lead Phlebotomist leading 6-8 other phlebotomist. She used proper PPE while providing education and training for her staff members. Jamilla performed veinpuncture on donors for phasmaphereis testing. She kept a watchful eye for donors reactions or problem with the machine. She brings experience in CPT coding, Triage Calls and excellent communication to ensure Phlebotomy Training Institute protocols is done correctly as the Intake Coordinator.
